Persistent Bulk

Persistent Bulk is a medium to long-term ley designed for cutting for either silage or hay followed by cattle or sheep grazing later in the season.

The use of Perennial ryegrasses and Timothy grasses make this mixture live up to its name, both persisting and giving big bulky crops.

Persistent Bulk contains plenty of high sugar tetraploid grasses to help with the silage fermentation process and make the pasture more palatable when grazed.

Can be supplied with 0.75kg Grasslands Demand white clover instead of the white clover blend.

Welsh Coombe

A long term ley, high quality ley with extra White Clover to provide an excellent grazing sward suited to both cattle and sheep.

Welsh Coombe will produce a very good ground cover, quickly, with its high seed rate and wide range of grass varieties.

Excellent winter hardiness and early spring growth make this ley ideal for lamb grazing but Welsh Coombe will also produce big bulky silage crops later in the season.

The perfect “permanent pasture”.

Can also be supplied with 2.25kg Grasslands Demand white clover instead of the white clover blend.

Welsh Abundance

Essentially a grazing mixture, Welsh Abundance contains a range of Ryegrasses, Timothy and Cocksfoot as well as Red and White Clover to ensure it thrives on many soil types.

Good winter hardiness and good persistence means Welsh Abundance can be happily grazed by sheep during the winter and spring months.

Equally, the ley is suited to suckler grazing during the summer months providing abundant quantities of grass and clover forage.

Llandeilo

A medium term ley mixture suited to cutting for silage with good aftermath grazing if required.

Llandeilo will produce very good early spring growth, suitable for an early bite if required, before re-growing to give up at least two quality silage cuts. The varieties of ryegrass used in Llandeilo have a very fast recovery rate after cutting.

The inclusion of White Clover improves the digestibility of summer grazing adding nitrogen to the soil before flushing up autumn ewes.
