Labrador

Labrador has been specifically designed for use in cooler more exposed situations, Labrador will provide full season cover and some feed potential.

Labrador has also been used successfully as a borrd rearing crop because of its ability to attract insects. Keeper kale with its excellent leaf canopy will ensure maximum cover until late February. This mixture may, with careful management, last up to two years. Triticale the main constituent of this mixture may make this suitable for situations where rabbits are a problem.

• Kale
• Triticale

Northern Star

Northern Star will provide cover and feed as well as being a haven for wildlife throughout the season. Triticale is beneficial where there is the possibility of rabbit damage. Northern Star is eligible for set aside under th ewild bird cover option. Wide drilling spaces are advisable to allow good access for your gamebirds.
