Spaniel
Spaniel is a summer sown, drought tolerant gamecover mixture which will establish quickly to provide autumn cover through until February.
The main use for Spaniel is to replacespring sown cover strips which may have failed through drought or very bad flea beetle attacks. However it is also very useful for patching up new or existing gamecover areas.
Spaniel can provide excellent cover if sown into standing cereals in June/July. The cereal can be harvested to leave the already germinating gamecover. If viable a cereal strip coud be left uncut to provide a valuable amun of autumn feed.
